A freelancer is a term that is used for a person who is independent, and is self employed. He does not have to work long term under the same employer, instead he works for several different clients or companies. Freelancers earn by their working hours or a day for which they get paid. 1.      Freelancer writer: It is the practice of writing for a client or a company. You can write text whatever your client needs, it can be on different topics or a specialized topic e.g. cooking. As a freelancer, you can write magazine articles, press releases, websites, blog posts, assignments, internal corporate communications, newsletter or brochures. A writer can earn $25 to $30 an hour.

2.     Freelance Web Developer or Programmer: If you have good IT skills, and can create, provide and fix software than this is the best job you can have. A web developer can earn $35 to $45 an hour.

3.     Marketing: It is Managing and coordinating of projects, and you can earn $45 to $50 an hour.

4.     Business Project Management: A freelance project manager is a person or a contractor who manages projects on behalf of clients, company or organizations. Some freelancer project managers work independently, and others find work through third parties. A project manager can earn $32 to $42 an hour.

5.     Freelance Photography: People with good photography skills can opt for this job. A freelance photographer can take photos for their employer depending on his type of demand. 7.     Virtual Assistant: A virtual assistant is a person who helps the client in his business. 9.     Accounting: A person can work as a freelance accountant too. He has to manage the pay roll, accounts payable and receive able, tracking, collection of money and handling his employer accounts.
